I run malwarebytes as well as avg antivirus, always have. Suddenly it is quickly losing charge, not wanting to charge, screen won't rotate, and other strange things. Have any ideas what could be going on? Memory usage seems abnormally high as well, yet can't find the culprit. I am doing nothing more than my usual for the last year. I also have it in power saving mode. When using this forum I couldn't get the reply box itself to show up. Had to shut down and restart to get it to reappear..
Thanks for any suggestions in advance.

That should have read samsung galaxy tab 3

Go to settings > application manager

On the right swipe till you get from downoaded applications to running applications to find your power hog. Force stop or uninstall it.

Thank you Tresha! Will see what I can find.

Mr. H, just a year.

Samsung devices age absolutely horribly, I learned the hard way.

A battery manager app might be a good bet, try Juice Defender.

Thanks, I will look into it. Something tells me there were updates as it has returned to somewhat normal today, albeit the battery has been getting worse lately. It was pretty much unusable last night.
I hate it doesn't notify of updates downloading or give the option to opt out til later or forever.
