Saddest Movies You Ever Saw?

The 400 Blows I found to be a very sad movie.

I couldn't help feeling very sad and sorry for a kid who just seemed to have everything going wrong in his life.

Not a movie technically, but the scene in futurama where Fry’s dog waits for him everyday at the pizza place he worked until he (the dog) finally lay down on the sidewalk and died of old age.

One of the few scenes of a tv show that can actually make me cry a little

Do NOT ever watch the movie Hatchi. That is where they probably stole it from.

He's still waiting there at Shibuya crossing.

This isn't considered a movie, but the saddest production that I have seen most recently is the Lifetime special about the Judds last night and the day before. I wanted to jump through the TV screen and give Wynonna, Ashley, and their stepdad a hug. I pray that they do not blame themselves for Naomi's suicide. If there is anything that I have learned in life, it is that you can't stop anyone from doing anything if they are willing enough.

God bless you and the remaining family members always!!!

A Marriage Story
If you have been through a divorce - this movie captures the raw violence, exhaustion and desperation of the worst life has to offer so perfectly.
Adam Driver may never do a movie as well as he did this one.
It is powerful, brutal in raw emotions, desperate and painful to watch.
But - I wish every newlywed couple would watch it.

A note - Alan Alda does a bit in this movie that is a classic scene.
