Yeah that was another really sad one I forgot about. Always loved that film.

New York Doll.

Tells the story of Arthur "Killer" Kane. Bass player for the New York Dolls. It tells the story of his many problems (drugs and alcohol) after the Dolls broke up.

He gets hired by the Mormon Church to work in it's library. Making very little money. He gets a call that Morrisey is trying the get the dolls back together. The church raises the money for him to get his guitars out of hock. It's tells of his insecurities in meeting back up with David Johansen.

The movie covers the concert and the surroundings with their concert. A tour is planned, Kane goes home, gets sick and dies within a couple weeks.

I was taking my daughter to visit her college and we bought the movie to watch on my laptop that night in the dorm. I could not believe how hard that movie hit me. I refuse to watch it again, it was so shattering to me.
