here's the problem, if obamacare really did make it so this guy could afford the insurance, then he is not paying full price anyway, he is getting subsidies.
Now take the family that does not get the subsidies, and has some out of pocket like the 12 grand a year I would have if I had been forced to go on commie care. It is tragic they way Republcians work to screw over veterans. When I went into the service, the GI benefits were much higher. But in the late 70's, Republicans slashed GI benefits. They continue to do that today.
