Ryan said the other day that it would balance in a decade if the economy really started rolling. Wishful thinking, but at least it isn't fudged into the projections as such.

Exploding entitlements and debt service are the new 600 lb. gorillas.

It's interesting isn't it? The progressives keep hammering Mr Ryans plan but fail to present an alternative for scrutiny.
