It's a weird story. The tax stamps take time to get, you can't just go buy that gun and walk out of the store with it.

It's an unusual pistol.

I read that they were looking at a gun store in CT, but the guy recently arrived on a bus from Atlanta. And I don't think he could even have bought the gun in CT with New Jersey ID...

And there were 3 spent and 3 unspent rounds recovered on the ground, so he wasn't all that familiar with the gun- he failed to get it all the way in battery on several tries, and had 3 misfires of his 6 attempts.

I also find it strange that after his face has been shown on national news sites they still haven't identified him .. if he's a foreigner it may be easier for him to hide than John doe that everybody on the block knows .. there's something weird about the whole situation .. then again I could be wrong ..

I found this earlier, it only comes with the one suppressor. It was in stock, now it's been sold.

I guess the publicity was good, but I don't think it was the gun involved in the shooting.

My Dude...the shooter had a suppressor (aka "silencer")...an NFA item. To legally acquire one requires paperwork, the direct involvement of the ATF, a background check, fingerprinting, and government approval on literally a case by case basis.

This doesn't prove that we need gun control...just the opposite...it proves gun control doesn't work.
