Ukraine then foolishly took on the "Russian Bear", with American, English, & European "Prodding" & "Material Support", which has Failed to stop Russia's advance through the Territories that Seceded.

The American Government, whether led by a Democrat, or a Republican, has outright Failed in Standing for the Truth about how this War started, and instead both Parties have used this War, as a means to "Stir th' Masses against Russia", & Enrich those who profit from making War Materials.

Donald Trump, while campaigning for POTUS the 2nd time, publicly stated "I can end the War in one Day", of which I had hopes that he would present to the American people, & the World, how this War started, end American support for the War, & Prosecute the American Leaders that GREATLY Contributed to it's cause, but,....... Once again "The Twitter in Chief" lied to the American people.

I Believe that a lot of people failed to read the "Big beautiful Bill" cuz' within it, is a huge amount of Tax payer money going to those who will make "Weapons of War" that has been, & will be used by Israel & Ukraine.

Not banning opposition political parties.
Not deposing mayors who don't support you.

So you honestly think that a handful of guys got Crimea to go to the Russian side?

Crimea was 82% Russian in ethnicity. It wasn't even part of the Ukrainian SSR until 1954 when Kruschev awarded it to them.

The Donbas wasn't part of Ukraine until 1922.

So let's look at the underlying cause of the internal conflict. That was because of the way the USSR broke up, millions of Russians were left on the Ukrainian side of the border. But as long as they could have some say in the running of things, and some local control, and were allowed to preserve their culture, they were willing to go along with it.

That all ended with the Maidan revolution.
