Russia Unleashes Full Military Power

Putin is a Nationalist and the swore enemy of Western bankers and globalists.
There's a picture of a man shaking his fist and saying “Liberals, we don't like Putin not because he's Stalin, but because he's not Stalin enough.”
Putin is not an enemy of the international banks, I'm sure when the West eases sanctions and other restrictions the russian thieving bourgeoisie led by Putin will immediately rush to hug those bankers. Russia has peripheral capitalism, its strength is based on the remnants of a greate socialist economy.

Ukraine's former president, Viktor Yanukovych, wanted closer ties to Russia and many Ukrainians didn't and others in towns close to Russia, didn't. Pro-Ukrainians forced Yanukovych out of office, and he fled to Russia. Once rid of Yanukovych, the Ukrainian's voted in Zelensky. Russia, seeing a loss of an ally government and a nation getting closer to the west and the European Union, amassed troops on Ukraine's border. Putin didn't want NATO forces next to Russia in that region, so he attacked, figuring that it would only take a few weeks to overcome Ukraine and restore Yanukovych to his presidency. He guessed wrong about the combination of Ukraine resistance and the EU and US helping it.
Put yourself in the Ukrainian's place. You have three choices:
1. Surrender and allow Yanukovych back in and Russia to take over.
2. All Ukrainians that don't want to be basically ruled by a Russian Oligarchy.
3. Fight and hope to win.
What's your pick, or do you have some other, novel solution?
If that is the case they they should have said so at the ballot box, they didn't, spin it anyway you like the fact is Yanukovych was the elected President the vast majority in Donbass voted for him he was not removed with an election he was overthrown by outside forces helped by Nationalist fascists and a coup, end of.

A load of crap, so much so that I am not going to itemize all of it.

4. Stop being stupid, quit allowing the United Snakes to run your country, give up your NAZIs, stay out of NATO, and stop waging war against Russia.
The only reason Ukraine exists is to wage war on Russia, once the war is over and the$$$$ stop Zelenskey is a dead man walking and so is the Regime, although they will have fled with their loot by then.

OMG
This devastation of the UAF must have reduced the front line to a few women and kids .

Probably a contributing reason for Mr Trumpf to halt further aid .
The result has been inevitable for over a year but more recently it has been admitted by US and NATO ,
Except to those who just read Fake News .

There's a lot of truth in what you say but let's start from the beginning. I was in Ukraine long before this "war" started. I have been to all of the East European countries (yes, each and every one of them), some of them during the Cold War and some of them after the end of the Cold War. They were all pretty dirty and shabby during the Cold War but they all cleaned themselves up fantastically afterwards. Well, all of them except Ukraine. I was there after the Cold War and it looked like WW II ended only one week before. It’s been run by the corrupt Mafia. Democracy? Forget it! Let us assume that the country had wealth and resources but that it was all siphoned by corruption. I suppose you are going to ask me where they found the money to wage this war. No, you won’t because I don’t need to tell you. You already know. OK. So far so good. Is all of the money from the West reaching the intended goal? Is Ukrainian corruption skimming a large percent of it? You bet it is! Now that the Ukraine corruption has been living high on the hog by Western cash you can be sure they won’t be satisfied once the West stops sending money. So, everything you wrote above is true.

Thanks for the detailed post and your experience in Eastern Europe, but are Ukrainians stupid? they must by now have noticed all the corruption and gangsterism by now and have done little about it, even blamed the wrong people for it.

.. are Ukrainians stupid?
The population is poorly educated so the answer to your question will remain unanswered.
.. they must by now have noticed all the corruption and gangsterism by now
Hang on. Stalinism was corrupt and it carried on to the end of the Cold War. Men like Alexander Dubček and Imre Nagy tried to break the streak by reforming Communism but the Stalinists crushed them. Communist corruption in Ukraine has simply been replaced by what they have today. Just more of the same corruption by a different name. The Ukrainians never got the chance to experience some of the Democratic principles that the other former Sovjet countries enjoy. I would call Ukraine today a Fascist state and oddly enough the West is slowly moving in the same direction.
... and have done little about it, even blamed the wrong people for it.
Are you now talking about post-USSR? Mikhail Gorbachev also wanted to reform Communism but the cards were stacked against him. I suspect those citizens who "have done little about it" had seen enough and didn't trust Gorbatjov to succeed where Dubček and Nagy had failed. With that I have to agree with you - they blamed the wrong people and mistook the corrupt government and the Radio Free Europe West as their saviours. I am not an expert on the subject and there's plenty of room for critique, so chime in and tell me what you think.

That's hilarious!

The Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) have started destroying Krasnoarmeysk (the city's Ukrainian name is Pokrovsk).
It is noted that the Shakhterskiy and Yuzhniy neighborhoods are often under attack.
The work of the AFU heavy and rocket artillery has also been noticed in the area of Shakhtostroiteley Avenue and Shibankov Square.
The adviser to the head of the DNR, Yan Gagin, said that the special services and the command of the Ukrainian Armed Forces had already left Krasnoarmeysk.
