Trump is being patient, and knows he holds the higher, winning cards. Restraint is for other factors on our side to develop if the mullahs don't want to comply. Also to show that after 47 years of Muslim assault on the West, we also have patience. The pause gives us time to replenish our 'ammo' for the next round of strikes.

But they aren't armed or prepared enough for such to succeed.

The reason Trump is unpredictable is not from genius, it is from being a lying conman. Back when Trump ran in 2016, NPR had a piece on him when he ran casinos in NJ and how he lied to the NJ Casino Commission to make the deal, promising them he won't issue junk bonds if they approve the acquisition. And what does Trump do after the acquisition of the casinos? He issues junk bonds, takes as much as he can and lets the casinos go bankrupt.

Point is...Trump is a compulsive liar, completely untrustworthy. Would you feel good about him as your general in battle? Or would you be worried that Trump would sell you out? I'm not saying Iran is 100%. But they had their negotiators assassinated twice trying to do a peace agreement with Jewmerica.
