In light of the latest in a series of terrorist bombings in Russia, intelligence sources have linked the attacks to funding and training coming from Saudi Arabia? Whereas 19 of the hijackers on 9/11 were Saudi, and the United States government chose to attack Afghanistan, the Russians have apparently decided to go directly to the source. It will be interesting to see how this plays out, and whether the United States incite the American public to defend them. I hope not. If they are behind this, I hope the Russians punish them well.

That's pretty cool, but still, attacking Saudi Arabia to get a handful of bad guys, like the US did in Afghanistan, is like attacking Italy to go after the mafia. It makes no sense.

The Saudi government itself has promoted terrorism and was heavily involved in funding and backing the 9/11 attacks.

They are a blight on the world.

It is about time somebody took out Saudi Arabia

Make them start operating in the real world where your actions have consequences

The only blight on the world is the US army. They attack anything that moves. No other country is as badass as the US. Stop fucking people up around the world with bombs and shit and maybe they'd have no reason to crash jumbo jets into skyscrapers.

Well yeah.

But, more and more it looks as if the Saudis were trying to get America to attack Iraq.

There's that component.

There's also the component of the US army saving Muslims in Europe from ethnic cleansing, helping out earthquake victims in Iran and chasing down terrorists that threaten government in places like Jordan.

But I agree the US should do it's best to lessen the negative impact it has in the region.

The U.S. attacked Afghanistan because they were harboring Osama Bin Laden and Company and refused to give him up - they were given ample warning and a sufficient time frame. Get the Facts Straight.

I won't say what I think about this comment as I don't want to get chastised for making a personal attack.

However, I will say that it is a typical liberal anti-American post that shows the poster's true colors.

As for your comment, the only stupid foreign policy in the Middle East has occurred since the messianic and egotistical Kerry has taken the reins of our Bumbler-in-Chief's foreign [or lack thereof] policy.

And then we just lost interest in Osama bin Laden and invaded Iraq

So shouldn't the US invaded and destroy Italy to get at the mafia? Or invade Mexico to get the drug cartels?

WHY SHOULD THE US GIVE A FUCK HOW MANY TOWELHEADS KILL EACH OTHER HALF WAY AROUND THE GLOBE. WHETHER THE US ARMY GOES THERE OR NOT, THEY'LL STILL BE FIGHTING EACH OTHER NO MATTER WHAT, JUST LOOK AT SYRIA AND IRAQ. (oops, sorry about the caps, lol)

This is beyond stupid.

1) We have no idea who six of the 9/11 hijackers were and the ones we do know were from several countries including Egypt and Kuwait.

2) KSA is building the largest refinery in the world with the Russians in Russia.

Who writes this crap?

It is Faaaaaaaaaaaaaaar past due for the Saudi's to stop getting a pass on everything they do.
Without their financial support it is doubtful some terrorist groups could even exist, certainly would not be as developed as they are.
It has been widely known, and shown ON FILM by Thomas Friedman that they finance and operate "hate schools" complete with textbooks, films and hours of listening to radical Islamist. Students are required to attend these classes.

Very true....the soft glove treatment after 9-11 was criminal

The hatred of the 9-11 hijackers was bred in Saudi Arabia and if we traced the money we would have ended in Saudi Arabia.

But they give us cheap oil and we looked the other way

The Saudis have repeatedly asked for the information in the 28 redacted pages to be released to the public..

Widely known? Have you ever set foot in Arabia? They arrest or ban radical clerics.

You yap on .. yet you don't know the nationalities of any of the hijackers.

You wouldn't know a Wahhabi if one flew up your nose.. and you have never been in a Saudi school.

I can also assure you that Prince Bandar is not talking to Finian Cunningham or whatever that moron's name is.
