Russia is Stupid

Their communications suck, totally, so they lack the ability to shape and control the battlefield in space (length, breadth & depth) much less time or vertical altitude, often making them cannon fodder.

I read they rely heavily on cell phones

Cell phones are constantly pinging the network showing exactly where the troops are located and concentrated

Thread from Rob Lee about documents released by Ukraine on Russia's 1st Guards Tank Army losses up to March 15.

Seems to agree with the documented losses published by Oryx.

We had always assumed that Soviet/Russian nuclear power was a one for one equal of our own

Given the demonstration of how backward the Russian military is in combat, it may no longer be true that they can compete with us on a nuclear conflict
Well you might be right!
Nobody is forcing you to take this seriously and I have no reason to interfere with the comfort you've found.
You should read Putin's remarks at RT.com on the expansion of Nato to two more countries.

Putin claims that if Finland or Sweden bring bases and weaponry to Russia's borders, Russia will react. Otherwise he sees no threat to Russia.

Russia is willing to defend the country on two fronts.

I don’t think that NATO wants bases in Finland or Sweden as a condition of joining.

More likely to see listening devices and surveillance

End result is that Trump left Putin a fractured NATO and now they are much stronger

Meanwhile, Russia is much weaker economically and militarily

I do but it's too far off to be a point of contention at this point in time.
More likely to see listening devices and surveillance
Yes, but most likely already there in Finland and being shared with the US.

A fractured Nato. Maybe you have information I don't have, but I seriously doubt that.
Meanwhile, Russia is much weaker economically and militarily
I'm sure Russia is suffering some consequences but I'm also sure the Russian people are still very willing to suffer.

The US target is to make sure that Russia's suffering is kept under control and doesn't reach the critical point. Those two countries pose no immediate danger to Russia. No Nato country does directly so far. The present situation is acceptable to Russia so far.

And again! Why is the Russian military so fucking stupid?

Putin humiliated as he unleashes missile hell on Odesa only to destroy beach toilet

The Black Sea port plays a vital role in Ukraine's overall economy and is currently under a Russian naval blockade. The city is a key strategic target for the Russians and has been subjected to heavy bombardment. However, Russian commanders appeared to get their targets confused, after wiping out a beach toilet in the city instead.

The destruction of the public bathroom was confirmed in a statement issued by Ukraine's southern operational command.

They said: "Another missile strike with the use of aircraft was inflicted on the Odesa region.
"With air-based missiles, the enemy significantly 'damaged the air' in the southern Odesa region.

"The beach toilet was destroyed. Apart from the hopelessly lost conscience and reputation of the aggressor, there were no other losses."

Lavrov disavows nuclear weapons threats, says NATO is at war with Russia

Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov said that Russia does not threaten anyone with nuclear weapons and does not believe that it is at war with NATO. According to "European Pravda", he said this in an interview with the Saudi TV channel Al-Arabiya. Lavrov said Russia did not threaten to use nuclear weapons when he spoke about the possibility of nuclear war.

"We've never played with such dangerous things. We all have to insist... There can never be a nuclear war. But in order to ensure that this happens, the West must discipline speakers such as our Ukrainian and Polish colleagues who do not see the danger in playing with such statements," Lavrov said. He also said that it is not Russia that believes that it is at war with NATO, but vice versa. "Unfortunately, it seems that NATO believes that it is at war with Russia. The leaders of NATO and the EU, many of them in Britain, the United States, Poland, France, Germany, and the EU's top diplomat, rudely, publicly and constantly say, "Putin must lose, Russia must fail." When someone uses such terminology, he probably considers himself at war with someone who wants defeat," the Russian Foreign Minister said.

He said that Russia knows the routes of arms supplies to Ukraine and these cargoes of the Russian Federation consider "fair targets of the special operation" as soon as they arrive on the territory of Ukraine. As reported, Lavrov in communication with the media also said that Moldova is "dragged into NATO" and this is "not in favor of its security."

Well, well, how Russia's tune has changed. They must have realized that none of their nuclear weapons actually work and are missing an unlimited number of expensive parts only made in the west lol

The incompetence is unbelievable.

It’s said the definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again while expecting a different result. If that’s the case … Russia qualifies.

We saw it in the early days of the war in Hostomel airport northwest of Kyiv. Russia made an unsupported airborne landing on the base. Got wiped out. Tried it again. Same result. There may have been a third attempt, but the airport wasn’t captured until the spearhead of Russia’s attack, on the ground, arrived a few days later.
We’re currently seeing it on Snake Island, of “Russia warship, go fuck yourself” fame. Over the past week, Russian forces have been wiped out several times (here, here, here, and here), and yet last night we saw Russian troops landing there once again. (Russia state media tried to claim that it was Ukrainians who were defeated on the island … using the Ukrainian armed forces video (with their logo on the top right corner) featuring the Bayraktar TB-2 drone interface, of which Russia has none. The destruction of the ship, when Ukraine has no navy, was a nice touch of hilarity.)

But nothing is as dramatic as the saga of the riverside crossing at Bilohorivka, where Russia didn’t just suffer one disastrous river-crossing attempt, but three of them over the past few days.

America went to Iraq and dismissed the Armed Forces and Police so they could go join the insurgency.

Stupid is as stupid does.

Somebody with a clue figured out there was and is no tactical advantage on the ground for even tactical nukes, but but it might start a regime change war, they can't possibly win if they do it.

Aside from the confidence building US propaganda, there's never been any doub that the US is the superior force. It's only baffling and a bit amusing why the propagandists are needing to solidify the fact!

Could it be that the real message is to have Americans believe that Russia is just as incapable with their nuclear arsenal?

There's not much doubt that the current propaganda blitz is nearly completely an effort to build confidence in the American people for one reason.

That is, dispel any possibility entering American minds that their country could be bringing on trouble that is always going to be the unspeakable!

Beware! You only get one chance to get it right. Reports on Russia taking large hits, if in fact they really are, should be cringe worthy.

Don't wish for Russia's defeat!
We are hoping for Russia’s defeat. The only people NOT hoping for Ukrainian victory are people like you who are steadfastly anti-American despite all the USA has done for Canada and how dependent you are on us. Of course that’s probably why you are anti-American; you resent feeling inferior, but you are and always have been. If you hadn’t been protected by the UK for two hundred years, Canada wouldn’t even exist. You’d be part of the USA.
