All it’s going to take is for the Middle East to announce they are ditching the dollar for oil trade, and that’s it.…dollar collapses and China becomes the economic superpower. Russia and China are on good terms. Most of Asia will trade with them, that’s 2/3rds of the world population. Asia + Africa is 75% of the world population.

Either way, setting up a system similar to unclaimed property and paying the money into it solves the full faith and credit issue. Puts the onus on the bondholders to get the money converted to other currencies.
