I wonder what regime you are talking about and how much do you really know about that regime. Deep State lying Media has been doing their best in misinforming you about Russia (I've never been to China, so I don't know much about them). I've been to several Russian cities and towns last summer, Putin's regime (as you call it) has done so much to improve living standards (after Yeltsin's mess) and there are a lot mote freedoms in Russia comparing to USA.
