It's September 10th, 2001. Rudy Giuliani is so unpopular in New York that he couldn't be elected dogcatcher. Having raised middle class taxes/fees, presided over the continued decline of one of the worst public school systems in America, worsened the state of health care in NYC, and doled out corporate welfare to his fat cat buddies, Giuliani was mostly a failure as Mayor.

The record as a whole shows Giuliani to be a miserable failure on 9/11 and his status as some kind of hero is completely mythological and driven by the corporate media. Somewhere in a safe house in Afghanistan, Osama Bin Laden was probably saying to himself, "Thank Allah George W Bush is President, Thank Allah Rudy Giuliani is Mayor of New York City. The death toll would never have been as high without them."

He did actually do a pretty good job of cleaning up the city. His big failing, IMO, is that after he swore he'd never use 9/11 for political purposes he decided to squeeze every last drop out of the dead and their families to advance his career.

In New York they are at war with "big gulp" drinks and Barry Hussein's adopted home town of Chicago is the murder capital of the mid-west with about 1000 innocent citizens expected to be murdered by the end of the year. You almost gotta laugh that the mayor of Chicago who once coined the phrase "never let a crisis go to waste" is caught in a crisis that the democrat party and the liberal media seems to ignore for political reasons. .

We've had the conversation a million times about what it will take to fix american ghettos but you cons aren't even close to being willing to do what it will take. What plans do you have to put jobs in or around Chicago and are they hiring blacks? Jobs will go a long way to healing what ailes us.

I'll give you an example of how wrong you cons are when it comes to fixing what's wrong. People pay property taxes and their kids go to public schools. Us liberals say the kids who need the money the most should at least get the same $ per student. But Republicans don't collect property taxes then divide it evenly. So the kids who need the most vet less.

My advice to any good black living in a ghetto is get out though. Don't expect help anytime soon. In fact the solution might be to break up the ghettos. Do you have low income housing and jobs in your neighborhood? We in metro Detroit have a lot of new black neighbors from the city. As long as no white flight we should be ok. And white kids are moving back to Detroit. That's good.
