Even if Trump is correct by some miracle, it will take years to rebuild the U.S. back into a manufacturing economy.....and millions of Americans are going to suffer during that transition. U.S. car companies are already laying off workers, do to the tariffs and their nasty effect on car prices. Americans are not going to tolerate this painful transition for the next years on the slim, miraculous chance that Trump is correct. You are smoking crack.

Trump is correct. In order to keep from going bankrupt the US needs to grow the economy, at least 3% a year. The US is now a "service economy" meaning that we don't manufacture much, we just buy stuff other people make. The products that we do make are being blocked by other countries' tariffs so we can't sell enough. If you look at the budgets from Trump-45 & Trump-47 you will see that the Interest on the Debt is exploding, Welfare is exploding, Revenue is now about $5T and the Budget is about $7T, so DOGE needs to cut about $2T to keep the US from bankruptcy. Americans will suck it up until the mid-terms, then decide which path they want, easy but deadly, or hard but safe.

It's not essential...that's what your dumb ass simply doesn't get. The U.S. is already the wealthiest country in the world.

Look longer term. Interest on the Debt is exploding, even at low rates. If we keep borrowing the dollar will collapse and our wealth will disappear because the dollar will collapse. The US bond rating keeps getting down-graded, soon it will be junk, then we are toast.
