MLB legend Pete Rose has died at the age of 83, TMZ Sports has learned.

Rose, Major League Baseball's hit king, passed away earlier today at his home in Las Vegas.

Pete's agent, Ryan Fiterman of Fiterman Sports, confirmed the news, saying, "the family is asking for privacy at this time."

Hope he made his peace with the Lord

Sad what Baseball did to him.

He was Charlie Hustle and always gave 100 percent
Now Baseball can screw him again and let him into the HOF

What Pete Rose gave to the game.

Head First slide when all the experts said feet first was faster. Now, everyone slides head first

Pete would always sprint to First Base on a walk

Charley Hustle always gave 100 percent, even in meaningless games. Took out Ray Fosse for blocking the plate in the All Star Game

Rose was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame, even though baseball didn't want him.

The value of Pete Rose baseball card just went up in value 10X

Trivia alert!!!

How did he get the name Charlie Hustle?

Any idea?

There are some things in this world that no mortal man can take from you.

I think it was Micky Mantle and Whitey Ford mocking a Rookie for running to First Base on a walk during a Spring Training game

Hey…Look at Charley Hustle over there

I think Rose will make it to the hall of fame, but the current generation might have to die off first.

Compared to the deviates in sports today this poor man was a saint... I hate the way he was treated....
He was treated the way he deserved.

That said… he was a GREAT ball player and belongs in the H of F albeit with strong mentions on his plaque noting how he disgraced himself and the Game

Baseball today embraces gambling and makes big money off of it.
Rose bet on Baseball and was severely punished for it.

Rose belonged in the Hall while he was alive

No. He was in the outfield as a rookie and a ball was hit about a 100 feet over his head. Pete stood at the fence and jumped as high as he could to catch in anyway.
