Apparently the clientele aren’t smart enough to do anything about. They get what they deserve.

I agree. These football "fans" were burning their jerseys, and then crawled back 6 months later. These clowns....

The teams with lower draws play in markets that support other major sports teams. So i think the product on the field might be the most important factor. And, as a lifelong baseball fan, I will be the first to say the the product on the field was boring for 20 years. "Three true outcomes" baseball is just not appealing to anyone but old, diehard fans. Who wants to watch an hour or two of baseball and see.only 3 or 4 balls put in play? Imagine watching an hour of basketball and only 5 shots are attempted.

Zzzzzzzzzzzzz.

The new rules are a good start. Wider bases and the pitch clock have made a measurable difference. Now slappy on base guys are turning their 100 foot singles into doubles more often. More action on the base paths, and games are shorter by 30 minutes.

Now it's time to lower the mound and go to robocalls on balls and strikes. There is still a dearth of offense, as the pitching becomes more and more dominant.

Also, time to go to the "double base" at first, so players can always go all out with less fear of injury.

And if the offense still suffers, juice the ball a bit.
