thanks for all the laughs, RIP Belz (me and Bill Maher call him Belz, he was our bro!)

from wikipedia:

Belzer believes there was a conspiracy to assassinate President John F. Kennedy[23] and has written four books discussing conspiracy theories:

  • UFOs, JFK, and Elvis: Conspiracies You Don’t Have to Be Crazy to Believe
  • Dead Wrong: Straight Facts on the Country’s Most Controversial Cover-Ups
  • Hit List: An In-Depth Investigation into the Mysterious Deaths of Witnesses to the JFK Assassination
  • Someone Is Hiding Something: What Happened to Malaysia Airlines Flight 370?

Old school standup comedian. He didn't look healthy even when he was healthy. I think he played a detective on some Cop show.

you mean he was skinny? well, that's better than being fat!

Belz here does a Springsteen impression, then discusses the Hulk incident at length, calls Mr T an obnoxious racist and misogynist

1988 politics material (Bush/Quayle/Reagan/Bentsen)

Letterman calls Belz "one of the most inventive stand up comics in the business today"

I wonder what was wrong with him. So far, it isn't being said.

God bless you and his family always!!!

Richard Belzer, who played the iconic role of Detective John Homicide Life On The StreetsMunch on both "Homicide Life On Streets" and "Law and Order SUV" has died.

Belzer first played Munch in 1993 on "Homicide Life On The Streets" , one of best shows of the genre. He moved his role to "SUV". He left that series in 2016.

Detective John Munch, end of watch.

I loved him in Law and Order. Very believable
