I do wonder if Anne Marie was able to appreciate the freedom that guns gave her to live a life filled with liberty.
At least she could take comfort that Columbine was the last school massacre and that the US has tightened up security to mean it can never happen again.

Tufted titmouse, I was shot 6 times in an armed robbery and almost killed. I STILL fight for people's rights to own a gun because if I had that right, I would have had a much much different outcome.

You misunderstand. About 400 people a day die from drug overdoses because of drugs coming across the border, but people like Tommy could care less. Guns don't kill anywhere near that number of people daily.

It's not about saving lives and stopping tragedy after tragedy, it is about taking your personal power away via a gun to protect yourself

In fact, no one ever talks about the lives saved because of gun ownership, nor do they talk about gun violence due to the off the charts drug trade.

Those tragedies can be explained away to conservative content.

Guns kill 113 people a day in our nation. 120 people a day die in car crashes. Fentanyl alone kills over 200 per day. Where is the outrage for this drug?
