I saw the movie about Alan Turing and the computer machine he invented.
But the truth is there was another fellow who contributed just as much as Turing in creating the machine and helping to win the war.
The guy was just another normal well adjusted straight man.
So the media heaped all the praise on Turing because he was a persecuted homo and that was front page news.

At the time being gay was presumed to be unacceptable in society and deemed exploitable by the communists for their own gain. Thus, low performing, uncreative British intel agencies persecuted him and drove him to suicide in order to ensure he wouldn't be compromised.

The biggest loser of his demise? Ironically the British citizen and their security/economic interests.

Canada has inherited this system and we continually allow the kakistocracy police apparatus to violate rights of citizens, drive them away or over the cliff in order to maintain their overfunded cults.

It has been broadly presented over the years through various accounts that I have seen and read. This article suggests "the state" drove him via laws and such, but this is lazy, collective blame. Chemical castration is one horrific many in which to treat any human being, let alone one so important to the worlds prosperity of freedom.

What I read over the years is that him being gay was a major liability because they knew the Russians would find out and use it against him for their own intelligence rewards.
