Talk radio isn't dying. They just need a freshening up. A facelift.

The big names have been around for at least a decade. In the case of Rush over 20 years.

Thats a looooooong time in radio. The demographic ages, and new and fresher blood needs to be infused. My opinion is that it needs to not be so focused on actual Washington Politics. Instead of 80% Washington and 20% other, it needs to be more of a 60/40 split.

Anyone who tires of the Rush Limbaugh act might consider listening to NPR. I suggest a google of "NPR Programs" and a review of the programming. Notice, much of it is national and/or international in scope, but each indpenedent station has local programming on local issues. Many locals also play Jazz, for those of you tired of contemporary 'music'.
