LOL! Narco-libertarians are really progressives underneath!.Perry is a Bilderburg, CFR, Tri-Lateral, Open Borders, Pro-Illegal Alien, Pro TSA, North American Union loving, efeminate, cheerleading, fake Conservative Republican. Why the fuck would ANYONE support him? Oh yeah, blind hatred of Obama. What are the net jobs in Texas comparred to the net jobs overall?
Didnt Perry create 1.9 million jobs NET...
But overall, wasnt there a net decrease in jobs country wide?
Yes.
People are trying like hell to minimize the achievement in Texas. "They weren't real jobs." "They were created by Federal funds." "They came from the oil industry." etc etc.
The best is "What did Perry do to create jobs? I thought gov't couldn't create jobs."
For anyone open to an answer, the answer is more what Perry did NOT do. He did not raise taxes. He did not push a state income tax. He did not push mroe regulation. He did not allow the trial lawyers to maintain the status quo. He got out of the way and let businesses do what they are good at. This is why they are flocking to Texas and fleeing CA, IL, and MI.
Idiot.
I like your avatar....just a suggestion, put little moving flames around it for a nice visual effect.
I'm not a flamer. But if you want to add that as your avatar I'm all for it.
I am sure that when you come out, you will be a flamer.
During the debate, Rick Perry said Texas made 1.9 million jobs since 2009 which was ALMOST half of what the country made. He said it more than once.
Two times two million comes out to four million. Hmmmm, good.
Then Mitt Romney (47th in job creation) said he created more jobs in Massachusetts when he was Governor than the entire time Obama has been in office. Well, that would mean he created 4 million jobs for six and a half million people. Even toddlers would have jobs.
Who would be dumb enough to vote for either one of these lying clowns?
After the debate, "Factcheck" came on and said Mass. created 49,000 while Romney was in office and since Obama has been president, the US created 2.3 million jobs.
Another hilarity was saying there is no legislation forcing Americans to "buy" something. Except care insurance. Guess Republicans don't drive?
Perry said Texas would have insurance if it weren't mandated by Obama. Except, if you have a better plan, you can opt out, he forgot to mention that.
Mitt said the reason he passed Romneycare was because people were going to the emergency room at 10 to 100 times the cost and the taxpayer was footing the bill. Which is hilarious since it's the SAME reason Obama's health care bill was passed.
The nerve of these two to lie so boldly, to the American people, right into the camera.
Of course the country also lost 8M jobs during that period so the net doesn't look too good.
Car insurance is mandated by the states, not the FedGov, numbnuts. Know the difference? I doubt it.
Anyone who spoke last night has a better record and more ideas than Commandante Zero. Zero job growth, zero economic growth, zero ideas.
Since the states can "opt out" of Obamacare, there really is no difference.

Yes there is you idiot. A very Big, Legal Constitutional Difference. You just don't care about the Constitution and the Separation of powers in it. One can make a sound legal Argument that States can Mandate Car insurance based on 2 Main points. One, You don't have to drive if you don't want to. Two, Powers not specifically given to the Fed fall to the states.
Neither Argument can be Made when the Federal Government Mandates you Buy Health Insurance simply because you are Alive.
The Fact that States can Opt out means nothing, because individuals can not opt out. What it does mean is the Bill is a flawed Worthless Piece of Shit. Single Payer would have been a huge improvement over this mess. It's only chance of working is if everyone is in, If Whole States can and will opt out. It's doomed from the start. Not that it has much chance anyways.
It fails on almost every aspect.
it's Not going to Decrease Costs.
It Puts huge new Financial Burdens on States
It Puts Huge new Burdens on Employers.
It's Leaves MC with a 500 Billion Dollar IOU simply so it can look like it costs less than it does.
Huge Epic Mega Fail of a bill. If you Libs were not so Busy Defending Obama, You would wake up and Realize this Piece of Crap bill is not Better than Nothing, It is worse that it was. It's not a step in the Right Direction, Its a joke. The only way you can hope it will lead to your goal of Socialized Medicine is if it succeeds in Causing the Collapse of the Insurance Industry leaving us not other choice but to set up our own NHC.
Wooo hooo I can't wait, I mean the Fed always runs things so efficiently and with such great service. It's going to be WONDERFUL.
Only a lazy slacker CON$ervative welfare queen who never had a job in their entire life would make a post so stupid!!!rdean...
Know your facts before you make fun of those that you calim dont know their facts.
No one is forced by anyone..be it federal or state...to purchase car insurance.
However, if you opt to own a car, part of owning a car is ensuring you are covered for liability.
But hey...dont want to buy liability, then dont buy the car.
Your choice.
Now...can you compare that to:
Whether you walk, dont walk, sleep, dont sleep, read, dont read, skip, dont skip, drive, dont drive, own a home dont own a home...no matter who you are, where you live, what you do with your time....as long as you are breathing...you MUST own healthcare.
NO choice.

Not true, you can post a bond.
V C Section 16056 Requirements of Policy or Bond
You should not go to a site that sells insurance to find out the truth.

ok lets get technical then.....the Bond is $35,000 ......how many can do that?.....so you have to have a minimum Liability Ins policy .....so to drive legally out here you are being mandated to purchase a cheap Ins Policy....
