Former FBI Director James Comey has been subpoenaed in connection with a wide-ranging investigation being run by a Trump-appointed federal prosecutor in Florida, two sources familiar with the matter told NBC News on Thursday.The probe, which focuses on an earlier investigation into Russian interference in the 2016 presidential election and other prosecutions related to President Donald Trump, is being led by Jason A. Reding Quiñones, the U.S. attorney for the Southern District of Florida. The sprawling probe has been dubbed a “grand conspiracy” investigation by Trump allies.

President Donald Trump on Thursday signaled his continued support for a Department of Justice investigation into Federal Reserve Chair Jerome Powell — a stance that could further delay the confirmation of Powell’s would-be successor, Kevin Warsh.“He’s under investigation because he’s building a building for hundreds of billions of dollars more than it’s supposed to cost,” Trump said of Powell in the Oval Office.
He was referring to the ongoing renovation of the Fed’s headquarters and another building in Washington, the purported focus of the federal criminal probe of the central bank chairman led by U.S. Attorney Jeanine Pirro.
Trump repeatedly claimed that the construction projects cost up to $4 billion, though the actual total is roughly $2.5 billion.

If you strip away the trappings of normalcy, the suits, speaking from the WH, respectfully being referred to as Mr. President, you are left with a balding, serial, sexual abuser wearing makeup. Who can't be bothered with the basics of his job, like getting daily national security briefs. Who contradicts himself on the most consequential decision a prez can make.........taking the nation to war. Who played golf the week after putting US troops in harm's way and wore a baseball hat while witnessing the dignified transfer of dead soldiers returning home. Deaths he's responsible for.
Who has now instructed the DoJ to once again spend its time on witch hunts against perceived enemies even as the threat of retaliatory terrorists strikes rises. After doing nothing following his FBI director firing counter terrorism agents in a similar act of retribution. As his government willfully withholds part of the Epstein files in violation of the law.
It is as cognitively overwhelming as it is disorienting. And what I've mentioned barely scratches the surface. All while his hardcore base of supporters remain comfortably numb.
