I honestly don't see much of a difference between this shooting and the shooting of Babbitt.
Though in this shooting the officer claimed to be in fear of his life (the protester was using a car as a weapon?), and in the Babbitt case, she really posed no threat. Babbitt might have even been waved in by a Capitol Officer at the door of the Capitol.
It is concerning when the state feels it can just gun down folks it disagrees with, and partisans like you think the only wrongful deaths are those who have political beliefs that align with yours. But you aren't the only one, many folks on the right are the same way.
I doubt anything will happen to this Rent-A-ICE officer. At most he might lose his jerb. Likewise, there is a possibility of a civil suit against ICE.

Now, there is a strong possibility that the family of Renee Good might be able to bring a successful civil suit, like Babbitt's family did, but beyond that, nothing will happen, unless the folks that are really in control want to finally agitate for large scale violence and civil unrest. . . which they have before, so they might do that again.
If that happens, nobody, on the left or right, will come out ahead.
