In RF, privatization failed. Apparently this was due to the arrival of the left in the United States, with the Clinton administration.
Privatization checks were taken away from citizens by violent methods and blackmail, and as a result, state property went into the hands of monopolists, mostly former communists and their children.
How was it in Europe? There was also large-scale privatization during the Thatcher era, and in the early 90s, in Germany and Poland and so on.
