Rescuing Jane Austen

Without a doubt the greatest novelist of all time.

So many of her works are seen as light entertainment bordering on chick lit.

I think that her books are more than that.

They are moral and ethical treatises that provide en education in self conduct. Very well written as well.

I cant think of any author from any era who entertains whilst being as relevant today as she was 200 years ago.
