Time for the Democratic party to reap the whirlwind due them for sixty years of minority policies based on identity politics, and through them, exploitation of minority groups' fear, weaponized as political currency against the other side of the aisle. Unfortunately, the true victims here are gay people. For decades, the Democratic party radical authors of the American cultural revolution have lied gay people into believing they could have unlimited freedom and rights no matter the obvious consequence of such a policy removing rights and freedoms from the majority of other Americans.

Now the Democrats must explain to gays why they were never entitled to more rights than any other American citizen. The Democrats planted this particular land mine decades ago, forgot where they planted it even as they buried more of the same model mines, and guess what? They just heard that sickening click before the detonation. The terrible truth about installing anti-handling devices on your land mines, Democrats, is that sooner or later, provided your intended victims (gays), do not step on them first, you're going to have to go back and disarm them yourselves. Looks like blowing the rest of those Leftist land mines in place has fallen on the shoulders of the Right, who were never champions of gays rights, but never promised them they could be something they never could, either, which is more entitled to special treatment than the rest of heterosexual America.
