My State has traditionally performed much better under Republicans. I worked for the State for a time, where most employees are leftists by a huge margin. Here are two examples how confused the left has them, though many would recognize their misguided ways are a consistency.

They believe they've rec'd more $ and benefits with Democrats. It's not close, our economy has performed far better with Republicans and the disparity in wages and benefits is wide. In fact, with Democrats they're lucky to get a bone.

I was sitting at a table with a handful of Medicare "specialists" many weeks after Obamacare was enacted. I wasn't one of those specialists, just an analyst. I informed them Obamacare $ comes from Medicare when they wanted to argue about it saying it's not, as though the suggestion was absurd and an insult. Of course they're liberals and soon bought the idea so easily.

2. The oil released from the SPR is sold via auction and the POTUS has zero control over where the oil goes...by law passed by the GOP, it has to go to the highest bidder. So, Biden did not sell it to anyone or have any control over where it went. Again it was just your spin on things and not a fact that you stated.

I don't know who opened those SPR bids, i.e. was it public, so I'm not certain Sinopec was the low bidder.
