Republicans to Hispanics.....Vote for us, or else!

no other country says "a border can never really be secure" and uses that as an excuse to pander to illegals and their families for amnesty

libs are the Party of NO

idiots and hypocrites

I've been kicked by the wind, robbed by the sleet
Had my head stoved in, but I'm still on my feet and I'm still, willin'
Now I smuggled some smokes and folks from Mexico
Baked by the sun, every time I go to Mexico, and I'm still

And I been from Tucson to Tucumcari
Tehachapi to Tonapah
Driven every kind of rig that's ever been made
Driven the back roads so I wouldn't get weighed
And if you give me, weed, whites, and wine
And you show me a sign
I'll be willin', to be movin

I don't really agree. I think they are just acknowledging the reality that unless they pass something with a pure majority with no possibility of filibuster it just won't have any chance of getting through the house.

I suspect the question will be whether even then, the gop can present anything to the house that can pass. Because first it will never have enough gop votes to gain a majority without dem votes if it has any amnesty provision. Further, even then, I'm not sure it'll be something the dems wish to give any approval to because it will probably still be unpalatable to many latinos.

I agree that the TeaTards in the House will not support any immigration reform regardless of who writes it

What an imagination! Conservatives have always been for immigration reform, just not the stupid ass reform that you liberal/democrats favor.

First, we need to secure the borders, so that we don't have the same problem twenty years from now. And, when I say secure the borders, I include the people who come in here on temporary visas and never go home.

Both are fairly simple to do, once you get the idiot corp out of the immigration department, and put some sensible adults into it.

Then, we provide legal status to the families that are here, and have been here for some time. Violent felons, would serve their sentences, and be automatically deported. Single people who arrived in the last couple of years would be deported.

There is absolutely no reason to give citizenship to people who violated our immigration laws in order to jump ahead of those who are waiting for legal immigration.

I think the dems would pass a bill that had amnesty, #'s of guest workers, and stiffer enforcement on not employing workers not legally here. EDIT, WHICH BTW IS THE ONLY FORM OF 'BORDER SECURITY' WORTH A PIG'S ASS. At one time that would have offended some latinos, but I think they're on board.

The chamber of commerce is ok with it.

At this pt, I think it's just a problem with the extreme right and grass roots. Whether it will doom the gop in 2016 ... it will unless the gop gets past it.

GOP: We'll move immigration reform if we take back Senate | TheHill

Senate Republicans say they'll try to pass immigration reform legislation in the next two years if they take back the Senate in November.

The Republicans say winning back the Senate will allow them to pass a series of bills on their own terms that have a better chance of winning approval in the House.

Typical Republicans. "If we don't get to call the shots then nobody can"

Over my dead body.

Our immigration laws don't need to be "reformed." They just need to be enforced.

As long as the pandering retards in both parties insist on kissing Hispanic ass, that'll never happen.

TeaTards will not support any immigration reform leading to temporary work visas or eventual citizenship..Period

Why the **** should anyone support either of those things? We don't need more visa quota increases and amnesty. What we need is enforcement of the law!!!

Without border security nothing else matters.

Republicans to Hispanics

We support Immigration reform, we really do

We just won't allow ANYTHING to proceed until we are satisfied that the border can stop every immigrant from passing. Until that time, you will just have to wait

Why is it you can't call them what they are "illegal" immigrants?

Because in Libbie World, the term "illegal" immigrants is racist.

RW, er....Wingnut, The TEA party people would support immigration reform that secures the border first, punishes those who hire illegals, and even allows some fair pathway to citizenship.

I see you support the release of murderers, rapists, and other violent crime convicts into our communities. I hope one of the worst breaks into your house.

BOTH are looking to expand their voter base. Bottom line.

Rubio said the Senate next year should pass immigration reform through a series of sequential bills that build upon each other to enact comprehensive reform. This approach would be more palatable in the House, he said.

First bill for Republicans to pass. Stop ALL immigration before anything else gets done
That should block reform for 20-30 years

Second bill in the GOP Immigration sequence. Kill Obamacare

First bill for Republicans to pass. Stop ALL immigration

Coming into this country illegally is not immigration.
Even if this is done with love....
It's an illegal act.

It really is that simple!!!

People come into this country illegally showing no respect for this country.
Then they expect us to bend over ass backwards to accomodate them?

well the Republicans aint doing that well with the Mexicans though....they think they are bigots because of some of the shit they say about them.....and they dont respect the Democrats because in spite of what they tell them.....they know its just for votes.....they generally go with the Democrats because they are considered the so called "lessor of 2 evils"....
