Republicans slammed online for celebrating children going hungry and millions losing Medicaid from Trump's bill

The market closed up on Thursday... the DOW is nearing 45,000 so what market are you watching?... give me a break... you are so uninformed....
Needs to go much higher. I don’t award credit for wrecking something and then just barely getting us back to where we were under Biden.

You are an idiot... when it gets over 50,000 you will say the same thing... now why can't you admit you were wrong like a man... you really need to watch non fake news...
You should be embarrassed....

Totally amazing, it really is, how democrats can defend able bodied people from not wanting to work, volunteer, or go to school while collecting government benefits for just watching video games. Also interesting how leftists can claim that illegals don't get government benefits but are now complaining because illegals are going to be losing their government benefits. Also amazing is how it's OK to prove eligibility with all of that paperwork once per year but two times per year is just too much complicated paperwork for these people.

They are part of the anarchist army egged on by America's enemies. They will support anything that weakens the country.

There's no more equivalency here.... only malice.

‘Republicans have been slammed online for their exuberant celebrations over the passage of President Donald Trump’s signature domestic policy bill which will strip health insurance from millions and cut meals for some of America’s poorest children.

The GOP budget package, dubbed the “One Big, Beautiful Bill”, provides tax cuts for the wealthy while slashing benefits through Medicaid and the food assistance program SNAP. It passed by a thin 218-214 margin Thursday in the House of Representatives and will be signed into law by the President in the Oval Office at 4pm Friday.

After the bill passed, Republicans danced in the House to Village People’s Y.M.C.A, one of the President’s preferred rally songs, hugged each other and posed for photographs with thumbs up. Others took their celebrations online. Republican Rep. Derrick Van Orden, of Wisconsin, replied “YES!” on X in response to a post which read: “17 million people just lost health care. 18 million kids just lost school meals. 3 million Americans just lost food assistance.”

According to the nonpartisan Congressional Budget Office, at least 17 million Americans are estimated to lose health coverage, or subsidies in their insurance that make it affordable. Fewer children will be automatically eligible for free school meals under the legislation and the bill creates “a domino effect” that will harm children across the U.S., the School Nutrition Association warned. SNAP benefits will now be withheld from adults with children who do not return to work if their youngest child is 14 years or older.’

Making themselves and billionaires richer by killing Americans in a cruel fashion.

These people are reprehensible.

Post the actual link to Van Orden saying "yes" to that statement, not just a picture.

Democrats and Media Hide Truth: Illegals Receive More Food, Housing, Cash Benefits, & Medicaid Than Citizens

...
The discussion surrounding Medicaid cuts has sparked heated debates, especially regarding benefits for illegal aliens. Many Democrats and their allies in the media are outraged by what they see as an inhumane measure. However, supporters argue that reducing these benefits is crucial for preserving national resources.

President Trump’s “Big Beautiful Bill” has drawn criticism for its approach to limiting Medicaid for illegal immigrants. Critics believe it is the duty of American taxpayers to support newcomers financially. Yet, proponents see this influx of immigrants as a strain on the nation’s economy.

The Center for Immigration Studies (CIS) released a report highlighting disparities between the benefits received by natural-born citizens and immigrants. According to the data, a significant percentage of non-citizen households are utilizing welfare programs. This has raised concerns about the sustainability of such support.

The 2022 Survey of Income and Program Participation (SIPP) provides a revealing look at welfare usage. It shows that 59% of non-citizen households use at least one major welfare program. In contrast, 39% of US-born households rely on similar support.

Illegal immigrants are often painted as draining resources, and the numbers seem to back this claim. The report outlines that immigrant-headed households have a higher welfare usage rate. Democrats, however, appear less inclined to address these statistics openly.

The study found that households led by immigrants, whether legal or illegal, have a higher reliance on welfare programs. Food programs, Medicaid, and the Earned Income Tax Credit are among the most commonly used. This reliance contrasts sharply with the figures for U.S.-born households.

Interestingly, the higher use of welfare by immigrants isn’t attributed to lack of employment. A majority of immigrant households have at least one working member. This finding challenges common misconceptions about immigrants and work ethic.

The report also reveals that immigrant households without children, or those with higher incomes, still tend to use more welfare than their U.S.-born counterparts. Education levels and income play a role, but they don’t entirely explain the disparity. The ability to receive benefits on behalf of U.S.-born children adds another layer to this complex issue.

Most new legal immigrants face restrictions on welfare access, but these limitations are not absolute. Certain states have made provisions to provide benefits to otherwise ineligible immigrants. This patchwork approach contributes to the ongoing debate about immigration and welfare.

The data indicates that the welfare gap between native and immigrant households is significant. While some argue that cutting these benefits is necessary, others see it as a denial of basic human rights. The political divide on this issue remains stark.

The controversy over Medicaid and immigrant welfare has been fueled by reports like these. Conservative voices argue that unchecked welfare for illegal immigrants is unsustainable. They warn of the long-term consequences for taxpayers and the economy.

Its suicidal to allow illegal aliens to exhaust our public assistance programs....

This scenario is similar to Joey Xi Baidung's exhausting our munitions and reducing our military for four years that weakened the U.S.
A.I. Say's:
"Biden's administration has faced criticism for depleting U.S. military munitions, particularly in relation to the ongoing support for Ukraine, which has led to concerns about the sustainability of U.S. military aid and readiness. The situation has been described as reaching a critical point, with stockpiles running low and the need for additional support becoming urgent."
Baidung refused to increase the manufacturing of munitions and missiles despite the crisis, thus weakening America's Defense. A Clear and Present Danger to America,

No, not really.
Yes, really. Either private investors determine how to invest in America's future or politicians and government bureaucrats do. There's a reason why all the communist economies have failed.

Still no.

Some weren't even subtle about it

The peasants who got tax costs in 2017 were going to pay more as that tax cuts were to expire, and the Prog politicians did not care. This is the truth about Progs. the reality. Come up with massive tax cuts for the peasants to start. It is not just federal taxes. Lots of other taxes the fed has also that the peasants pay for.

I’m no millionaire but it looks good to me and I’m in favor of it. Certainly doesn’t hurt me any.

konradv Do you want the wealthy to pay higher tax rates because it will boost the economy or it will make you feel better?... because it will slow the economy for everyone...
Exactly.... They want to take the guys who have oars in the water, the ones who are actually pulling and stroking.... And cut their arms off. In the meantime you don't see any of them offering to step in and take their place.

Yes we are terrible people. That’s why you should stay as far as from us as possible by moving to North Korea or China or Iran and leave us alone to actually govern by the principles of Madison and Jefferson, not Stalin, Marx and Mao

Let me guess. MA will raise property taxes to pay for this now that the SALT deduction has been raised to 40k, essentially passing along the cost to the federal tax payers. Writing off expensive liberal policies is never accounted for when calculating federal assistance to the states.
And you guessed correctly! That is exactly what these effing mobsters and Massachusetts will do.
