10.9 million people would lose health insurance under Trump's tax cut bill, CBO projects

Who benefits the most from tax cuts.

The wealth obvioiusly

Lower income will benefit but it will be minimal. It will be better than nothing.

But the status quo stays the same

The rich get richer, middle class gets some gains, and the poor remain poor.
We are witnessing regressive taxation. The wealthy get lower tax rates and vap gains savings. The rest of us get 30% tariff sales taxes! MAGA!

There you go! :113:

You answered your own damn question. They will be covered, one way or the other, by the ACA.

If they are able to work? They will have to in order to be eligible.

If they don't? meh, you are right, lots of folks could lose their insurance, but good luck convincing real Americans to care.
Cutting coverage for the poor so the hyper wealthy get tax breaks...awesome!

Which is exactly why this nation is doomed. Until/unless a signicant percentage of the voting population embraces the ultra-conservative authoritarian government we truly need… we’re all fucked.
oh, so now we as Americans don't have a choice? It is accept a tyrant or leave? Are becoming Venezuela, North Korea, Russia?

Look at the reality of these requirements.

People who are on Medicaid are not usually the brightest people and the requirements asked of them are difficult to complete and often require knowledge of computers. In simple words, they need to complete the administrative processes that many are unable to do. In addition, those administrative processes needed to be completed once a year and now it is twice a year.

As far as the oxymoron of this is that the administrative processes required now will cause increased spending, meaning the savings that are supposed to come from the Big Beautiful Bill will be offset by the increased costs. This means that the country will not benefit from it, but the poor will suffer from it.

Here is a link that explains what I just said:

Who will be affected by Trump administration's Medicaid, SNAP work requirements
Life's a ***** dude. If they're smart enough to fill out the paperwork to receive Medicaid,
then they are smart enough to complete it when it comes due to continue it.
You have a lot of drivel with your posts with very little substance.

None of sll this matters. One can work hard endlessly and it wont get them much ahead in todays america. Its timd the working classes accept it.

So, you are refusing to help her fill out the forms?
They are too complicated and time consuming. She is a friend but not my wife or my children. I did it once for her and it took me close to 2 days (and many hours) to do. She had to get the documents needed, I then had to take a picture of them and then I had to put them in a format where they could be uploaded to the website. She now has to do it twice a year and I do not have time or desire to do that consistently.

Nonetheless, that is not the point I was trying to make. I helped her once but this is just 1 person among the millions that have to do this. Most of those people do not have someone like me that is computer savvy and whether I helped her or not, most of them don't have someone to help them.

This is what is wrong with this process. It is an oxymoron as they require people with less ability to do something complicated. In addition, they are spending more money trying to save money. Does that make sense to you?

Or are you dumb or simply an uncaring person?

I care for people like you care for Republicans.
I care for people that care about people. I do not care for those who try to "impose" their wishes on others at their own benefit. Much like what Trump and the far right are doing.

So, you hate yourself. Got it.
You do know that your comment proves you to be the kind of person that you are accusing me of being, don't you?

It seems that you enjoy debasing people without having any basis to do it. You get beat at your own game and cannot stand it, so you debase the messenger as a way to make yourself feel better.

You have to be computer literate to fulfill all the requirements to get Medicaid.

If thats the case, then you'd have to be computer literate either way...

But you dont, there is help if you have questions, you can pick up the phone and call someone, or ask a friend. I mean, just saying someone is computer illiterate isnt the answer, they have people to help them, right?

No, they do not. There are 40 million on Medicaid. Do you honestly think you can find 40 million computer savvy persons that are willing to help the other 40 million? Hahaha

The administration is not there to help them but to make it more difficult for them and that is exactly what they have done. In addition, you honestly believe that if you are computer savvy that you would be (or need to be) on Medicaid? Medicaid recipients are not the brightest people around, or people that can use the computer or get help easily from others.

You do understand that Americans are more selfish now than ever, don't you? With the media revolution where most everything is now done through computers or phones, "FEELING" true care for others has decreased. Before when people met in person with other people, by nature you felt closer to them. How can anyone feel close to someone else through a computer.

What are you talking about? 40 million peolle aren't going to need help, just those whom you say are computer illiterate or for some reason or another can't fill out the paperwork to sign up. For those, the medicade office can probably help them.

It is clearly evident that you have never filed or gone to a Medicaid office.

Oh and by the way, I am very computer literate and when I helped my friend, it took me a full 2 days to get the information requested and filed and even then, it was because my friend had the stuff needed and available to be used....................many don't.
