The reason why free college is important is because the country benefits from educated people. We NEED more educated people like doctors or scientists.
What a crock of shit, most people that go to college avoid science and math like the plague, they graduate with liberal arts degrees and stay in their parents basements.
If you want more of those, then PAY them.....
Not everyone needs to go to college, we need manual labor as well......in fact we need them more than scientists.
You really don't understand how life works....
And going to school, should be on you.....it makes the people who want to go, figure out a way to go
And we could make college affordable, like lowering tuition and books...…..funny how the left never mentions this....ever
See that’s just you entertaining a stereotype about college because you never went there. It’s true to an extent but obviously people do go to college to get degrees that allow them to be teachers, lawyers, engineers, economists etc.if more people went to college we, would have more of them.
Well I do have a degree.....In Information Technology, so I took a lot of classes, you lefties avoid like the plague.
The problem is you don't know why college exists and what caused the issues
What is college for?
It is to cultivate leaders through giving them a well rounded education to succeed in life.
What happened?
2 Major problems....
1) Cost of college has skyrocketed.
Tuition and books are astronomical.....but the people who own the culture institutions(the left) that complain about costs, never complain about this one, because all of their buddies make a killing off of this. Also one of the reason they want everyone in college
2)Curriculum
It used to be you have to be well rounded, take a foreign language and calculus and science in addition to humanities and English classes. Now you can avoid those classes you don't like, thus you are not well rounded and not prepared to be a leader.
So when you want everyone to go to college and be doctors and such, you would have to lower the costs for more people to enter college, but at the same time increase the requirements to make the degree worth a ****.
