It's laughable that the Obama Administration has claimed soaring natural gas and oil production as an accomplishment of theirs. For him to sit there at a Wall Street Journal roundtable and give himself credit for that, given his record on fossil fuels is farce of the highest order! We, the American people are presently benefiting from low energy prices not because of anything that Barack Obama did...but rather DESPITE everything that Barack Obama did!

Most f the good stuff happening in this country is despite Obama's policies, not because of them.

A big part of the trend can be attributed to the location of shale deposits where hydraulic fracturing, or fracking, and horizontal drilling have allowed producers to tap huge oil or natural gas resources.

Much of it is in Pennsylvania, where gas production has taken off. And it's common in Texas and North Dakota, states where the federal government owns far less land than it does in several Western energy-producing states.

“There are only so many dollars out there,” said Sarah Ladislaw, an energy expert with the Center for Strategic and International Studies, noting the heavy industry investment in shale exploration outside of federal lands.

“When you overlay those two maps, the places to be weren’t necessarily on federal land,” said Ladislaw, co-director of the think tank’s Energy and National Security Program.

The civilian noninstitutional population in this country is about 249 million. Fruit loop dingus here wants to subtract 20 million, leaving 229 million.

Currently, there are 147 million people working. Plus fruitloop's imaginary 70 million he thinks he could get back to work is 217 million.

The idiot who struggles with 1+1 is actually claiming conservative ideas would get 217 million out of 229 million people working, or 95% of the total population age 16 and over.
