I'm appalled that a teacher would have a discussion about sex or their personal life with any young child. It's not normal. How much time would Congress "waste" on a bill like this, a few days? As we approach the two year anniversary of 1/6, this Congress has wasted all that time for a clown show and is still wasting time on it. But that doesn't bother you because it's all about Trump. But to make a bill protecting the innocence of young children, why we simply don't have time for such nonsense.

So a teacher mentioning their same sex spouse would be fine with you? Because these laws would outlaw that.

Ok, so, they address the discussion of those topics towards kids down even at the kindergarten age.

How do you talk about any mommies and daddies and families to kindergarteners? I’m sure you can do that with going into the birds and the bees.

Ok, so it was found that some federal schools and libraries had purchased sexually explicit material that targets pre adolescent kids.

The book banning attempts have been wide ranging….including just about any book that features non hetero characters among others. Very few of the books were actually inappropriately graphic (and yes, some were), but others just dealt with difficult topics and we’re age appropriate. That is in schools. Trying to ban books in public libraries is just wrong.

So, some state agencies have used federal funding for drag queen story hour and burlesque shows.

Doesn’t bother me as long as it doesn’t cross the line into porn (and I am sure someone is now going to flash that one inappropriate picture.

I mean, this bill really states clearly that it's about sexually explicit material being provided to kids under 10, honestly, I don't think it goes far enough. Our schools shouldn't be providing sexually explicit material to anyone.

Ok….do think that that is going to make sex and the many issues surrounding it just disappear in the minds of teens? I actually am not sure what I think when it comes to older teens. For example Slaughter House Five was banned for containing sexually explicit material yet it is also classic with a lot more to it then just the sex. Should it banned?

Tell me of a situation where a teacher would have to mention or discuss their personal relationship with their other. As I said before, our straight teachers never did it or had to do it. The only reason you don't like it is because it restricts liberalism. Think of it as your heroes solution to the problem: Don't ask--don't tell. See how easy that is?

Do you read your own links? The first one talked about masks and the use of bathrooms, not about anything taught in the classroom. Furthermore most of those so-called threats came from people not even associated with the school. They didn't even come from within the state. They came from across the country.
