Republicans clash over megabill

Lefties, do you really believe in equal protection?

Let's have a Convention of The States and hash this stuff out without the Supreme Court or Congress or the Executive branch. :D

I’m very leery of this notion. Once one of those is called then all bets are off.
Well they're dicking the dog too much. For decades now. No more kicking the can down the road. No.

This bill doesn't repeal the green new deal. Which should be a cake walk for Republicans who have the majority. It adds trillions to the debt. A long with the other non conservative issues in this bill, this isn't why Republicans won the majority.

Republicans clash over megabill

Thomas Massie unloads on fellow conservatives as megabill negotiations continue

A last-minute hard-liner revolt could derail Johnson’s hopes for a floor vote this week

House GOP leaders and the White House are pushing for a final passage vote today on a roughly 1,100-page bill that hasn’t even been fully written — and one Republican lawmaker is taking notice in a very public way.

Rep. Thomas Massie of Kentucky, fresh from being called out by President Donald Trump the day before as a “grandstander” who doesn’t “understand government,” is using his social media platform to call attention to the path down which Republicans are headed.

“Major provisions of the big beautiful bill are still being negotiated and written, yet we are being told we will vote on it today,” Massie said in one X post on Wednesday. “Shouldn’t we take more than a few hours to read a bill this big and this consequential?”
LOL. The party of low spending and smaller deficits. :auiqs.jpg::auiqs.jpg:

There's more than enough cuts being made. If more is needed it's time to start cutting things that help corpirations.

Rino's are NOT on the endangered species list as there are plenty of them not only in the D.istrict of C.orruption but also in state & county positions. With "Gelatin Johnson" as the Meaker of the House" one really can't expect much out of congress. The RNC/DNC have been sleeping in the same bed AT LEAST (possible further back) clear back to the Wilson administration. Americans live in a divided country & America proper exists in a fractured world. Everyone gets tortured in the game of life sooner or later like it's just the way life is. The smart ones pull a Nero, break out their violin & play sweet tunes while the whole freaking planet goes up in flames! Moral to the story, just because U R safe now does not mean U will be tomorrow!!!

There isn't dick for cuts being made, or guys like Massie, Paul, and Ron Johnson would already be on board with the program.
Shit like this is why Democrats can pass bullshit and Republicans can never pass a damn thing! :102:

Republicans can't pass a damn thing because,

1) They won't raise taxes on corporations and the wealthy under ANY circumstances.
2) They just don't get that taking assistance programs and health care away from the poor, veterans, and the elderly is UNPOPULAR!
3) They spend just like Democrats....but won't make allowances for paying for any of it. :auiqs.jpg:

You are zero help, you know that? This is serious business and all you bring is nonsensical bullshit. Boo!

Rino's like Trump and Johnson, and none of the democrats would allow it.

What help are you looking for? This is truth. These are the basic problems Republicans have had for going on almost FOUR decades now. They have ZERO success stories. I hear the same bullshit out of conservatives mouths year after year. Cut spending, cut taxes. Kill social programs, kill public education....all LOSING issues. All while spending like drunken sailors.
:)

1974, Pilgrim. That was the last year a successful Republican led policy initiative was passed.
That's a long time to go with no victories. Almost as if the ideology of conservatism....wasn't really conservative. :auiqs.jpg:

Dems love those TAX INCREASES. I think every Democrat should run on massive tax increases. Say it loud and say it proud Dems, vote Dem for massive tax increases, that's a winning strategy right there.

Are you fucking kidding me? The republicans are just as guilty of funding that BS as the left. So while you're praising the left, you might look at the last CR that funded all that CR. You might look at Trumps actual record from last time, how he funded everything from USAID, Medicare/Medicaid and all those social programs you leftist love.
Trumps going to be a better president for the left than those of us actual conservative.
The only thing different between RINO's and democrats is the rhetoric. The bills are almost identical.
