the bill did nothing to control illegal immigration. It just made it easier to immigrate illegally. We are no longer into nation building but nation survival. We cannot environmentally support the increase in population especially the elderly, poor, mentally and physically ill. Including criminals and drugs and gangs crossing the border. We are looking more like a 3rd world nation. We cannot feed an increase in population because majority of farmland is so polluted to grow anything. The U.S. imported around $148 billion worth of agricultural products in 2020, and according to the USDA, this has since risen to $194 billion in 2022. To control the population we need to abort and generation. We have immigration laws already and all that is needed is for them to be enforced.
