If our nation had been attacked and 100,000 Americans had died and soldiers from the nation attacking us were here and still attacking and Trump was actually defending us and he declared martial law, I would not stop him.

Then again, one major difference is that here we have an established military force led by the Pentagon. As such, the leadership of our defenders would not need one person being the leader. No such situation is seen in Ukraine. They did not have or presently have anything like our Pentagon leaders to defend the nation so having some ONE person doing it and doing a good job (actually a great job), there is even more reason why there hasn't been any election while the war is on. That is correct thing to do.

did you expect Ukraine to just roll over and let Russia take the whole country ? even though Ukraine may lose territory at least they fought and will be able to keep most of their territory .. remember Russia wants it all .. but in reality unless we are willing to send in troops and start WW 3 a peace agreement will be brokered where unfortunately Russia may keep some of the territory .. I would prefer Ukraine keep all its territory but we live in the real world ..
