Cops using deadly force is still a serious thing and is almost always investigated. This should be one of those times. I support ICE and the deportations but this all happened very fast, and warrants a full report to the public. Was the man disarmed? If so why did he get shot? No one is questioning his right to be armed. This is what standing investigative boards are for.

If the cop who shot did something wrong then he should be punished. If he did not then he should be returned to duty and provided with PTSD counseling. Nothing complicated about this folks. Everyone just calm down.

Pretti interfered with an arrest. That's at least two violations alone, obstruction of justice and interference. Then he resisted arrest. In the process he went for his gun.
That a legal shooting.
Even the State of Minnesota has laws protecting Law Enforcement for that actions that Pretti decided to take.
