You mean like democrats are doing in Illinois?

The across-the-board rejection of Joe Biden and Democrats continues.

A Republican managed to flip a Democratic-held Texas state House seat Tuesday in a district that President Joe Biden won in November by 14 points.

While most of the attention nationally was on Republican victories across Virginia and a surprisingly close race in New Jersey, one Texas special election could be a sign that Democrats are in trouble nationwide.

Republican John Lujan defeated Democrat Frank Ramirez 51 percent to 49 percent on Tuesday to take the Texas House District 118 race, The Texas Tribune reported.
That's a Bexar County (San Antonio) seat.

:laughing0301:

Holy SHIT.

I guarantee you they backed off the cheating nonsense and couldn't keep up the fraud, because Ken Paxton has been on the fucking warpath on election fraud. They KNEW they were being watched.

Bro....

Just.....STOP.

You ain't know what you're talking 'bout.

There was no State House redistricting. This is a state seat in a Dem stronghold in Bexar County (pronounced "Bear").

(as in Presidio San Antonio de Bexar, the fort named after San Antonio de Valero [after which they named an oil company Valero]) which was named after Frey San Antonio de Olivares the guy who organized the fort and the accompanying chapel officially naming the compound Misión San Antonio de Valero which was nicknamed after the line of poplar trees that led up to the chapel. The Spanish word for Poplar???? ALAMO).

Start winning key elections and you too can do the redistricting
You still have to be fair about it. Moving districts where they vote one way to join another district that votes another way is not representation of the people. It just political manipulation by one party.

Redistricting encourages manipulation of the elections by allowing incumbent politicians to help partisan allies, hurt political enemies and choose their voters before the voters choose them

It is manipulation

It sure is.
It’s like transporting illegals to red states in order to skew those elections left.
It’s like opening local elections to non-citizens in order to skew those elections left.

The districts haven't changed, cumquat, and this is the state assembly, not Congress.
I mention Texas which is not Congress as Congress cannot determine how the state redistricts
Wow a moderator that appear to not understand redistricting when it is easy to look it up but decides to make comments for all to see.

Fact is after the census the state legislature redraws district lines based on the census numbers. Well a few states use bipartisan committees, citizen commission, executive commission, or panel of civil servants.

it is not pronounced "bear" it is Bexar county with the x being pronounced and is not silent.

The capital of texas is a democrat stronghold. The city motto is "Keep Austin weird". Do not need to mess with it as Texas is a big state and the map shows how it was changed.

Texas is a border state and there is a large Hispanic population with illegals mixed in. Yet the state still votes republican. Yet with all the illegals in the state the state still vote republican. So how is the vote be skewed? Illegals don't vote as they cannot vote.

Except this district hasn’t been redrawn since the 2010 census and the new lines are not yet in effect. Go ahead and run with this anyway.

Illegals will vote. That’s the dem move. Non-citizens are already voting in local elections.
