Republican gerrymandering

Just how corrupt and douchebag Democrats are is becoming known. They are a species of sub-humans of stunted mental development. They lie, cheat, steal, rig, engage in all sorts of depraved sicko behaviors.
Ooooo! They're so baaaaad!

In California, it was the electorate who voted to redraw congressional district lines.

In Republican-run states like Texas, Trump-toady politicians dictate to the People.

In Indiana, where the Republican leader of the state Senate says there isn’t enough support to redistrict in that state, Republican Gov. Mike Braun has continued to call for the legislature to vote on a new map.

Nationally, of registered voters, 45% have declared a party affiliation. As of August 2025, 37.4 million voters are registered Republicans and 44.1 million are registered Democrats.

Republicans get some 40% of the vote in New England and have no House members.

Now, who wants to talk gerrymandering?

Everyone knows California is gay as hell. :eusa_hand:

I've long recognized that undocumented claims that begin "Everyone knows..." are feeble attempts to legitimize crackpot notions, in this case an irrelevancy as well.

In California a decade or two ago the people voted against gay marriage. One of your judges showed up to thwart the will of the people.

So it's ok for Texas, Missouri and North Carolina to gerrymander, but not California. There ain't nothing dumber than a Republican! They will appeal this all the way to the SCOTUS, who will probably back them up, since they reside in Trump's pocket! But it won't be enough; they will get crucified in 2026.

Bigly!!!
CA based theirs on race and will be struck down by the SC. Democrats dont have a candidate fr 2026

Yes, progress does, indeed, happen, more slowly in some states than in others.

That is the GOP allegation that will be adjudicated.
No its fact they used race to define the districts. They will lose in court. Democrats will lose as many as 20 seats in the house by 2030

California law requires the CRC to pay serious attention to the Federal Voting Rights Act (VRA), which requires the commission to draw districts for an underrepresented racial or ethnic group where that group is large, geographically concentrated, and politically distinct.

Your ruling is that California's redistricting plan is illegal.

The United States Supreme Court has yet to issue its ruling.

Incidentally, Democrats outnumber Republicans by a considerable margin in both states.

In July 2025, California had 22,900,896 registered voters, comprising 85.04% of its total eligible voters. Of those registered voters, 10,367,321 (45.27 percent) were registered Democrats, 5,776,356 (25.22 percent) were Republicans and,
5,116,983 were No Party Preference (22.34 percent).

TEXAS:

Total Registered Voters:
17,485,702

  • Democrats: 8,133,683 (46.52%)
  • Republicans: 6,601,189 (37.75%)
  • Unaffiliated: 2,750,830 (15.73%)
(The relative party affiliation numbers in Texas might explain why the politicians in power are opposed to congressional districting being determined by the popular vote.)

California's population increased in 2025.

Your partisan prejudice should not be based upon such falsehoods.
You need better sources like the US Census. The Gov of CA isnt a source get real

Yes, California lost population according to the U.S. Census Bureau, which has shown a net population decline since 2019, driven by factors like high housing costs, reduced net domestic migration, and a decrease in international immigration during the pandemic. While some urban counties like Los Angeles County experienced notable declines, the rate of shrinkage has slowed in recent years, and there was a slight population increase in the state between mid-2022 and mid-2023.

Key factors and data
  • Population decline: California's population began to shrink after 2019 and was down to about 38.97 million in 2023 from 39.53 million in 2020.
  • Loss of representation: The population decline resulted in California losing a congressional seat following the 2020 Census, going from 53 to 52 districts.
  • Contributing factors: High housing costs, a high cost of living, and remote work opportunities have driven residents to move to other states, particularly in recent years.

Illegals dont count and the increase is less than 80000 which is nothing. As taxes go up crime increases more fires idiot mayors and useless Gov. It will decline again.
