We get told what Democrats need to do by the right as if they won the presidency by 20 points. Or as if the Republican majority in both houses is huge. But the reality here is that Trump won by 1.5 percent, the Republican majority in the house is 3 people, 6 in the Senate. Democrats do not have to do what has been suggested. Republicans are in trouble and while Democrats might have to work on fortifying their base instead of going after suburban white Republicans, the Republican party is in trouble right now and if Republicans in Congress want to keep their jobs, they will turn on Trump. This congressman is waking up.

Republican Congressman Slams Trump’s ā€œOut of Controlā€ Executive Orders
Representative Troy Balderson, who has benefited from a Trump endorsement, is now speaking up.

A Republican member of Congress thinks that Donald Trump’s executive order spree has gone too far.

Representative Troy Balderson, whose district comprises areas in central and southeastern Ohio, said Thursday that the president’s orders are ā€œgetting out of control,ā€ adding that Trump and Elon Musk are exceeding their authority.

ā€œCongress has to decide whether or not the Department of Education goes away,ā€ said Balderson at the Westerville Area Chamber’s business luncheon. ā€œNot the president, not Elon Musk. Congress decides.ā€

Balderson said that he respected Trump, the need for executive orders, and the right to investigate government agencies, but that ā€œCongress has to do their work.ā€ The congressman was endorsed by Trump since his first run for Congress in 2018, in a district that has voted Republican going back at least 46 years, so his opinion shows that Trump’s actions are becoming unpopular even among Republicans.

Trump’s new commerce secretary, Howard Lutnick, confirmed Wednesday that the president plans to make cuts to Social Security, Medicare, and Medicaid, all programs that are popular with Republicans as well as Democrats. If Trump follows through on those cuts, Republican voters in areas like Balderson’s district could lose patience with Trump and the GOP by the time the 2026 midterm elections come up, and perhaps even in 2028.

Trump's psychological warfare against his voters is hurting him big time.

The republican reps are generally spineless wasters. But they understand that musk cant buy them re-election.
They will turn on a sixpence once their voters turn on them.

The fact is that trump has a fake mandate. People didnt vote for this shit. Only the ectreme nazis voted to sack black people. Similarly with abortion. Trump now seems anyi abortion yet everywhere that has been tested the good abortion people won and protected it.
People voted for lower prices and cruelty to their neighbours. All they are getting is ruelty to their neighbours and higher prices..
The fantasy is over before it began and all that will be left is a giant mess for President Crockett to clean up.

You are spot on Tommy. I don't know if America is ready for President Crockett, although it would be a very needed change.

House Republican Bashes Trump’s Firing of Joint Chiefs Chairman: Shows a ā€˜Lack of Decency and Class’

A notable House Republican is lashing out over President Donald Trump’s firing of C.Q. Brown, the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff.

Speaking with CNN’s Manu Raju, Rep. Don Bacon (R-NE) slammed the move to fire Brown — with whom he served personally.

ā€œI was a colonel and a one star with C.Q. Brown, he did not deserve to be fired,ā€ Bacon said. He added, ā€œThe military is resilient. I’m just worried about the lack of decency and class.ā€

This is the second time in a week that Congressman Bacon has come down hard on Trump. Speaking with CNN on Wednesday, Bacon called out the president for calling Ukrainian leader Volodymyr Zelensky a dictator.

ā€œThe president needs a do-over day – and start again,ā€ Bacon said. ā€œHe took a bad turn. I think what he said is wrong, and it’s a shame.ā€

I think she is a sharp cookie. If I was on Team Crockett I would advise her to avoid confrontation with the likes of Green . Its fun to watch her beat them up but she doesnt want to get typecast as the opposite of insane. Those people soil everybody they come into contact with.
