repub requirements for work target low income people over 50...most who already work.

My question.

That's troubling because the cost of proGfessional child care and elder care, as well as the care for the disabled, is very high in the U.S.

Let's say a percentage are taking care of elderly or infirmed relatives. They get a small bit of food benefit help. They have to go to work instead leaving the elderly and infirmed where? Going into nursing homes covered by Medicaid? Will this lower the debt or actually raise it?

Dems just want to give free shit to everyone.
“The GOP bill is grounded in a belief that people who get SNAP benefits and aid through other assistance programs are not employed but capable of working, and that enforcing work requirements can increase employment and earnings.

But that's a misconception.” ibid

It’s more than a misconception – it’s both wrong and a lie.

This is more bad faith political theater from the right; another example of Republicans’ contempt for low income working American’s and conservatives’ unwarranted disdain for the poor.
