You are looking at Crooks as a capable assassin. I have a few things to support and oppose that theory.
1. Crooks was not a good shot. He was on the HS team, but he did not start.
2. The acoustic analysis casts some doubt on the single shooter version.
3. Crook's cell phone can be tracked in the weeks before the shooting, he visited some suspicious places
4. Crook's parents are a study in suspicion.
5. The SS violated many protocols, was it "lack of critical thinking" or an obvious setup to assassinate Trump.
6. I'd like to see the SS from Cheatle on down get sodium pentathol polygraphs to get o the truth

I'm not giving the SS the benefit of the doubt.

Reports are made to find an establishment mainstream narrative which will allow a consensus to be happily established and accepted .

Where mistakes and judgement errors have occurred , you make sure that establishment hurt is minimised and you punish from the bottom upwards .
