Rep. Bill Pascrell (D-N.J.) is asking House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) to refuse to seat members of the next Congress who back President Trump’s effort to challenge the election.

The demand comes as more than 120 House Republicans, including Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy (Calif.), have signed an amicus brief supporting Texas’s election lawsuit in the Supreme Court.

The suit is asking the court to prevent Electors from finalizing President-elect Joe Biden’s victory in Georgia, Wisconsin, Pennsylvania and Michigan.
“Stated simply, the men and women who would act to tear the United States Government apart cannot serve as Members of the Congress,” Pascrell said in a state
This guy didn't get the Unify memo, did he? What a jerk.
After all the dirty crap the Democrats pulled while Trump was Pres and in the elections, there can be no unity. Biden and the Democrats have made millions of enemies.

I thought OPs were supposed to contain some kind of opinion. They are when I do 'em.

Anyway one is reminded of the New York state legislature of .... well exactly a hundred years ago as it happens, when several duly elected Assemblymen were first suspended from being seated, and then expelled, on the basis of their political party. After condemning the Speaker's action the Governor (Al Smith) called a special election to fill the vacancies, whereupon the five Assemblymen were elected again to the same seats. Three were again expelled, and the other two resigned in protest of the first three.

143rd New York State Legislature Session

Well, not seating them may be a good thing and hasten a split of the country into two.

On another forum the decision not to seat is highly approved by the dem majority there. They view the reps supporting Trump's legal efforts as traitors...to be locked up.

Trump, the GOP and Trump voting base had every legal right to object and take this to the courts no matter how ridiculous this was and to claim what they were doing is treasonous is ridiculous and should never be consider that.

Now if Trump, the GOP and Trump voting base take up armed rebellion against our Nation after being told by the USSC that Biden has won by not taking up those two cases then yes it is treason and should be dealt with accordingly but that has yet to happen and until then the Democrats should cool on their rhetoric...
