Hydro power is the only power of any significance. That's the short answer. Wind and solar are largely irrelevant in the US.......provides just a small fraction of our electricity........combined just abut 6%. By 2040, will only be fractionally higher too!

BTW.....interested parties should note. The only reputable measure of renewable energy comes from the EIA ( US Govt Energy Information Agency )

The United States has so much Fossil Fuels and finding more every day that it should be considered like a renewable. It is cheap, clean, safe and AVAILIBLE. Use it and worry about alternative energy sources a few centuries down the road.
