Since Last November all we have heard is how a slim margin of victory for the Liberal Democrats ( which wasn't even true, the majority were Conservative democrats) was some how a mandate from the people to go left.

Since then we have seen the Congre4ssional approval rating drop farther and farther, with the refrain that somehow the Republicans are causing and the democrats are pure as the driven snow.

I would suggest all you "the Liberals will win big in 2008" types check out how voters can and do remember how they screwed up and WILL vote against the party that lies to them...

Heavily Democratic State, with numerous Democrats to chose from, A southern State that has never voted in a non white Governor since reconstruction. They remembered full well, even past the blame Bush routine of the National Democratic Party.

You can split hairs as finely as you like and convolute and complicate reasoning and make up excuses and explanations all you like. What constitutes a liberal Democrat and what constitutes a conservative Democrat? Is a conservative Democrat more conservative than is a Republican? Look. Democrats are Democrats. Also, by what percentage must someone win before the win can be considered a mandate – 20 percent of the popular vote, 30 percent of the Electoral College vote? Again, you can make up reasons and slice off whatever percentage suits you. The bottom line is that the Democrats won. I also think that a Democrat will be the next president – mandate or no mandate.

Next question...

Even with statistical probability, there is a margin of error. Therefore people estimate and predict. They have opinions (based on statistics). Based on surveys and the success that Hillary is having on the campaign trail, it is reasonable to predict, at least at this time, that she will be the next president. It is an educated opinion – but still an opinion. Everybody has opinions.
