Choosing revenge and the use of our new-found political power is a mistake.

The real villain here is the authority that could have ended the protests at the start. They could have had the police come in at the start, and they could have summarily expelled students and removed the diploma of folks like Kalil, as they did for some other students.


Government is and should be restrained by the Constitution......Columbia University had the power to end the protests, as it would have if it were black student who were targetted.

I have not once brought 'feelings' into the discussion. I have brought up elements in the Khalil case that for whatever reason you choose not to acknowledge or discuss. I have posted several links of informed and scholarly opinion as to why those elements are important.

I won't do as the Democrats do and as you have done a couple of times to ask the 'when did you stop beating your wife question. But I will say I will not defend a green card holder who violates the unalienable rights of Jewish Americans and who supports terrorist organizations. In the interest of national security, if for no other reason, such people should return to wherever they are a citizen.

Let's check:

If this individual, a legal resident, was rallying people to support Trump, capitalism, anti-abortion, or any of the other areas in which you and I are in agreement, and he riled up the people......would you want him jailed or deported.

We need to support the Constitution, not one political or religious view or another.
