Think about this, Republicans did quite well in 2014 and 2016, much to the disgust of the Democrats. Did Russia interfere with the 2014 election? At this time there is no evidence.

However, for over a year, Trump has been in denial about Russian interference in the 2016 election, this despite confirmation by the intelligence community.
