"Chinese manufacturing sunk to a three-year low in February as the U.S. ratcheted up pressure on China over trade issues, according to data released Thursday.

The news comes after high-level talks between the U.S. and China last week that resulted in President Donald Trump delaying higher tariffs set to take effect Friday.

I think Trump should put on a tighter squeeze. China has been far too aggressive and arrogant and they are trying to covertly harm the U.S economy in the U.S the same way Canadian police covertly harm U.S corporations on Canadian soil.

Why should tariffs be only retaliatory? Why not use them to induce companies to manufacture in America for the American market. WTO rules allow developing countries to use tariffs that way, so why shouldn't a developed country do the same thing?
