Apparently the employees have quit showing up for fear of being deported. :laughing0301:

"Multiple development sites in Forth Worth, Texas, Forest Hill are EMPTY with no workers, only supervisor trucks

Hiding from ICE raids and Border Patrol. This is where American Jobs have gone, completely replaced with cheap ILLEGAL labor

“This is my second construction site area I've been to and there ain't nobody out doing sh*t”

“You see two of the trucks down there. I think they're supervisors. Maybe they're trying to verify and see if ICE is going to come out”

“I ain't never seen it this quiet before. This is crazy.”

That's a lot of dead grass and clearcut. Yikes.
Looks like some subdivision from hell. 😆

That has always been the case though. A friend's family runs a big construction business up in the DC area. He told me years ago that he could have a full crew but as soon as the immigration folks were spotted, his site would be a virtual ghost town in less than a minute. He hired his subs through a company that guaranteed they were legit workers but nonetheless, it was a David Blaine show as soon as the immigration trucks were seen in the area.

I bet if someone pulled up in a taco truck they'd all come out of hiding. :laughing0301:

They did create a lot of prostitution and drug dealing jobs but most of the others were just slave labor. Our ignorant Democrat party with their insane open borders caused all this shit and now Trump is forced to spend time and money to clean up this massive fuckup.

When they were building a local casino there were taco trucks lined up for the workers.

Those trucks used to be the high point of my day, back when I was working construction in Texas. :laughing0301:

At least 25% were .gov jobs, another 20% were with the grifting NGOs that catered to illegals and worked against America.

Just call it 50% that were basically made-up jobs to pad FJB's job numbers.

Why else would you have around 74K IG jobs across 74 agencies, making on average, 108K a year.

The .gov needs to be gutted like fish. The resulting job loss figures would be more than offset by the savings of getting shed of them.....Sane America would applaud.

I enjoy a good food truck from time to time. Construction is so modular now it is probably easier than back in your day. Everything is pre-made just about so it is just a matter of getting the right component into the right position. It is amazing how fast they built that thing once they had the foundations poured.

I was told last year by one young guy I talked to and he told me that companies were hiring foreign workers left and right over Americans, sometimes even firing the Americans they had to hire foreigners.

Years ago, back in Florida, my teenage son and his buddies decided to use their new Spanish language skills decided to drive through the area near the construction site of our new minor league baseball stadium. Yelling out the car windows, telling the workers in Spanish that immigration was on the way to the site, every worker immediately left the site, ending construction for the day. They didn't come back the next morning either. The delay in construction even made the newspaper!
